About the Role:
314Devs is seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer to expand our growing team. In this role, you’ll focus on optimizing and stabilizing our infrastructure, implementing automation solutions, and maintaining overall system reliability. You’ll work hands-on with cloud environments, security protocols, and monitoring tools, ensuring high performance and a robust, secure system landscape.
Your Skill Set:
- Work closely with product teams to strengthen infrastructure performance.
- Support the development and deployment of new projects and features..
- Assist in architecturing and optimizing large-scale information systems.
- Automate essential infrastructure components.
- Configure and maintain infrastructure solutions.
- Offer technical expertise and insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop and update comprehensive technical documentation.
Additional Experience That’s a Plus:
- A higher education degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- At least three years of practical experience in roles such as Systems Engineer, DevOps Specialist, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
- In-depth knowledge of Linux-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, or Chef.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, particularly using Bash and Python.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration solutions, with a preference for Kubernetes-based environments.
- Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, ideally with GitLab CI or similar tools.
- Understanding of distributed system architecture and the challenges of scalability.
- Experience in designing and implementing information systems.
- Expertise in working with PostgreSQL databases, including performance optimization and replication techniques.
- Fluent Russian language skills, with English proficiency at an intermediate level (B1 or higher)
Additional Experience That’s a Plus:
- Practical experience working with top cloud platforms
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) or Ruby for backend or infrastructure tasks.
- Ability to design scalable, distributed systems and justify architectural choices.
