About the Role:
314Devs is looking for a Systems DevOps Engineer to strengthen our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and improving our infrastructure, developing automation solutions, and ensuring system stability. You will work with cloud environments, security measures, and monitoring systems to maintain a high-performing and reliable system landscape.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Partner with product teams to improve system performance and scalability.
- Contribute to the planning and rollout of new features and system upgrades.
- Design and implement automation solutions for infrastructure management.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain infrastructure.
- Provide guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders on DevOps best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for internal processes.
- Develop and update comprehensive technical documentation.
Your Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years in systems engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles
- Strong background in Linux administration and network management
- Skilled with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Saltstack)
- Bash and Python development skills
- Deep understanding in containerization (LXD/Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD (GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of distributed systems and best practices for system design
- Proficient with Postgresql (Patroni)
- Hands-on experience with Cloud/Bare metal, Saltstack, Terraform, Nginx/Haproxy, Redis, Rabbit, Kafka, GitLab, Zabbix/Prometheus/VM + Grafana, Bareos, Vault, Consul, ELK, and Minio
- Fluent in Russian; intermediate or higher English (B1+)
Additional Experience That’s a Plus:
- Experience with major cloud providers
- Go (Golang) or Ruby development skills
- Ability to architect complex, highly available, geo-distributed systems and defend design decisions
