About the Role:
314Devs is looking for an Engineering Manager to help our technical teams reach the next level. In this role, you’ll improve system architecture, streamline deployments, and ensure our high-load systems remain fast and reliable. Your Responsibilities:
- Lead technical incident management and establish a structured incident response process.
- Define system health metrics (SLA, SLO, SLIs) and track active incidents.
- Develop and maintain monitoring metrics for system load, logging, and alerting.
- Enhance system security by identifying vulnerabilities, conducting analyses, and implementing improvements.
- Design and improve deployment processes for greater efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Software Architect to shape a long-term technical strategy.
- Drive architectural transformation and guide the shift to microservices.
- Manage load monitoring, database optimization, and library updates.
- Standardize technology stacks and refine CI/CD pipelines, including unit testing best practices.
- Act as a Product Manager for internal development tools, engineering portals, and dev-mode environments.
- Directly manage and support multiple teams (up to 30 engineers), providing technical mentorship, performance evaluations, and career growth opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in DevOps and managing high-load systems.
- Proficiency in scalable architecture design and implementation.
- Strong background in incident and release management, focusing on process optimization.
- Solid experience in leading and growing engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Ruby is an advantage.
